World Water Day Symposium 2019

  • mHub Innovation 965 W Chicago Ave Chicago, IL 60642 USA (map)

MWRD Commissioner Josina Morita invites you to join her for the first public presentation and partaking of effluent beer in Chicago at Current’s 2019 World Water Day Symposium. This event will bring together 200 water industry experts and environmental advocates to discuss new ideas—including water reuse.

Commissioner Morita in partnership with Sharon Waller and Sustainable Solutions LLC has produced Chicago’s first effluent beer. Effluent beer is a fun and futuristic way to demonstrate water reuse at its best. With new technology, we can now take some of the dirtiest water people can think of (effluent) and treat it to the highest end use people can think of (drinking it). And what a better way to do this in Chicago than beer?
